XYBASE Operations and Maintenance for Jakarta Airport
XYBASE has recently completed the Soekarno Hatta International Airport Flight Information System (FIS) Application Software Development project. We are in the Operation and Maintenance stage for the project. The new FIS went live on Dec 13 2006 for Terminal 2 and Jan 12 2007 for Terminal 1. XYBASE is currently providing 24 hours onsite support at Soekarno Hatta International Airport.
MASSPORT Extends Operations & Maintenance Contract
XYBASE has been maintaining the systems in Boston Logan International Airport that was installed for the past 2 years. This includes the AODB (XODB), Flight Management System (FMM), Middleware (XMB), FIDS (OpenFIDS) and Resource Management (Gate Management, Check-in Counters and Baggage Belt assignments) systems. On top of that, XYBASE is also responsible for the maintenance of the integration to SITA's CUTE/CUBE, Siemens' baggage handling systems, FAA's data feed and the airport website. Due to the exemplary service provided by XYBASE, MASSPORT, operators of the airport, has decided to extend its Operations & Maintenance contract by 4 terms. The latest agreement will see XYBASE maintaining the systems up till mid-2008. XYBASE will be responsible for providing the first line support on the systems. Apart from that, any new enhancements to the systems will be implemented. The first task is to upgrade the existing systems to version 4.
XYBASE Won in Uganda
XYBASE have won the Departure Passenger Handling System (DPHS) Project for Entebbe International Airport (EIA), Uganda. The DPHS that will be implemented by XYBASE consists of CREWS and BAGERA. CREWS is a common use check-in solution that allows many airlines to share the same gates and desks through a common workstation, maximizing airport operations efficiency. CREWS provides a complete passenger data-handling infrastructure to a group of users with diverse requirements for EIA to run airport operation easily. BAGERA is a comprehensive Baggage Reconciliation System (BRS) that guarantees each loaded baggage is matched with a passenger who has actually boarded and allows tracking all bags from check-in to loading point. It also provides relevant feedback to airlines’ host pertaining to the status of the bags.
